LHB carriages are the new generation light weight and most safe carriages but are very expensive at the same time on Railway budget. Therefore, to ensure the safety of passengers, Indian Railways performed some architecture changes in ICF bogies and fitted LHB carriages with them. No doubt after getting new ICF Bogies, the LHB Carriage now have a limit of maximum speed at 130 kmph but are now less expensive and more safer than the ICF Conventional Carriages.
