WAG 11 is an upgrade electric good hauling locomotive over its previous and most successful sibling WAG 9. Concept of WAG 11 was also to run it in dual hauling locomotive but is still under trials and testing. The 12000 (6125+6125) HP Dual WAG 11 locomotives are capable of operating heavier freight trains more than WAG 9 at a maximum speed limit of 105 kmph and its first design has been noticed to be changed gives it the similar looks similar to WAG 9.
